Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Beengo app, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Beengo.

Beengo is a camera-first language-learning app. Features include:

• Camera-based object recognition and translation.
• An AI tutor for chat, quizzes, and practice.
• Native-audio pronunciation and feedback.
• Spaced-repetition review, stories, and podcasts.

To use most features you'll create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Be responsible for activity under your account.
• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country).
• Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

Beengo is free to start. Beengo Pro is $5.99/month, or $57.99/year (about $4.83/month), and may include a free trial.

• Purchases are processed and managed by the Apple App Store (and Google Play when available).
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your app store account settings.
• Refunds are handled under the policies of the app store you purchased from.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
• Upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Access the Service through automated means or scrape it.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or copy parts of the Service.
• Misuse the camera or AI features to capture others without consent.

You keep ownership of content you create, such as saved words and notes. You grant Beengo a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You're responsible for the content you capture and for having the right to do so.

Beengo uses AI to generate translations, explanations, stories, and pronunciation feedback. While we work hard on accuracy, AI output can occasionally be wrong or incomplete and is provided for learning purposes only. Please use your judgment, especially for important translations.

The Service — including its software, branding, and original content — is owned by Beengo and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the Service as intended.

Beengo relies on third-party providers (app stores, AI, speech, and cloud services) to operate. Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers' terms. We're not responsible for third-party services we don't control.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that learning outcomes will meet your expectations. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beengo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

You can stop using Beengo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

We may update these Terms as Beengo evolves. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Beengo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where required, you may have additional rights under your local consumer-protection laws.
